Reformat SSD

I am trying to reformat my SSD. I change the bios to DVD drive and install Windows 7 HE disk. It asks to hit any key but it doesn't work and goes straight to windows startup. Please help, driving me nuts. Thanks.

Are you using the SSD for your OS? If not, try and format it from Windows.
