Well, folks, I finally had a chance to assemble and test the LED displays and driver
for my Comet. With a few mods (the chips I'd planned on using were out of stock,
so I had to redesign a bit on the fly), they looking and working great!

Pics are up at:

I would have taken pics with the displays in the game, but my comet lives at a
friend's house, and I didn't have tim to do the full install this trip up :(

These should also work in Space Shuttle, Sorceror, and any of the system 7 games
that use the master/slave display setup with 4 7-digit player displays and the 4
digit credit display.

To pay for my little project I ran extra sets of PCBs, I'm out of LED digits, so
I'm taking pre-orders to gauge interest in these, so I don't go overboard buying
parts I don't need.

Price for this run is $150, and when they're gone, they're gone, and probably will
not be remade.

I'm looking into doing displays for a friend's Grand Lizard (2 7 digit alphas, 2
7 digit numeric, credit/match + master), but I don't have any time-frame in mind
for those yet.

Note that the 'font' and color of the LED digits are different from the original
plasmas, and I've chosen to disable commas, since these digits only have periods.
(By populating a few extra chips on the master display board, it's easy to add them
back though).

Thanks for looking.
