Fan boys

gotta love em

i have a soft spot for AMD and ATi .... probally makes me a fan boy too...

but people... stop making absolute comments about hardware that is not released.

preliminary benches, rumours on incompatability. rumours of poor ramping etc etc

none of us are in AMD or INTEL foundries. If we were... i am sure we wouldnt be risking our jobs telling people on the internet any secrets

Intel has a plan to punch AMD in the mouth... AMD has a plan to punch INTEL in the mouth. we just sit back and watch it play out.

People saying Its confirmed Prescotts work in current MB's or its confirmed Prescotts wont work in current mb's
its just silly. you can say all signs point to either or.... but people on here acting like its the word of god that they are right.

we have no prescott to stick in a 865 board... so we dont know for sure... we have to wait till reviewers can get one.

sheeshhh

if i am wrong... show me a link

I know this isn't Intel, but I would trust ASUS. I bought this card a few days ago based upon this site claiming Prescott support. They state that the "new power design" supports the Prescott.

good one indeed.

We know there can't be any absolutes, popegoldx, but we do our best in understanding what goes on around us and get the most out of what we're doing (i.e. buying mobos).
