The issue is this:

I accept that the updates do not work on W2k3 Server. However I am still
getting notification to install these updates on the Server. How do I stop
getting these notifications? This appears to be an easy bug to fix.

On XP, I removed the MBNU by removing it from
Start/Programs/startup group and don't get updates messages
for MN-xxx hardware. There is also an option to check to
updates on the MBNU that you may want to disable instead.

It's not a bug but a setting. Once again I strongly recommend
uninstalling the software since it is not need on that computer.
