Early P4 3.0 800 FSB bug

Just asking if anyone have read anything anywhere about what really was the problem that caused Intel to delay shipments of the P4 3.0 with 800 FSB. I'm starting to worry that it may be a vital issue. But it must be resolved now wouldn't it?

My system: Intel Pentium 4 3.0, 800FSB / TwinMOS 1Gb DDR400 / MSI *argh* / Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro / Antec True Power 550W / 2x Western Digital Raptor / Hercules G.T XP /
SamsungDVD / Lite-On CDRW

That bug is no longer an issue, as I understand. But I don't have any further details...

At a post, I think it was called "System Dead", the poster complained about his dead 3.0. I was just thinking, how the hell could it just die? And so I got paranoid

actually, yes, but that was somewhat of an accident.

I tried to write my name in different colors, hoping to change something on the "poster" sign, but instead, the system only gave me a signature <font color=red><b>M</b></font color=red><i>ephistopheles</i> or something...
