Eventually the cards will go bad. If it's still under warranty I'd return it, if not I would replace it if you use it to move valuable information.

How old is it?

My Sandisk is at least a year old, plus it's been through the laundry twice and it still works fine.

Try and find of copy of some software called "Sandisk Rescoue Pro" - it might be able to help you out.

you can try and get a restore program at various sites like download.com and try a recovery program to see if it will fix the problem. If you need more memory I would sugest a Sandisk Exetreme card which comes with software and has a lifetime warranty. The prices are quite reasonable now, Sure you will pay a little more but for the difference it may be worth your while.
