I was just thinking: A64 will be released as a laptop/notebook CPU later on as well, right? When is it going to do so? Together with desktop CPU? Anyone has any details at all? At which clock speed, lower or higher than desktop counterpart @ 2.0Ghz?

Anyway, Centrino/Banias is already on the market for months now and will have an attractive price when Dothan makes its debut. And Dothan will be introduced at 1.8Ghz, 1.9Ghz and 2.0Ghz with 2MB cache and 90nm tech... Given that Banias is already most interesting, Dothan - aside from its price - will be almost a no-brainer.

Are there any other features on A64-mobile that we should be aware of?...

Let me see if I got this straight...

Passive cooling? Now why would they do that? Will that not limit maximum clock speed? Or do you mean in laptops/notebooks?

Hes probably talking about the Futuremark postings on the AMD64 not haveing a cooling fan. They had a pic of a 1U rack from the Anandtech review and people jumped to conclusions as always and assumed that the chips are passive cooled. They didnt notice the fans right about it since the 1U's use cooling tunnels to cool the processors as well the heat sinks were all copper so we already can imagine the heat output if they requre that.
