More about intel turns profit million
  1. Now's a pretty good time to say: They got too much money!

It's no wonder they can afford opening new fabs almost each year! And this is NET PROFIT, right? That means the CEO could just run off to a lifetime vacation and shopping spree lol. Boy, such money definitely could go towards MORE R&D, or hey, do a good anti-capitalistic favor, donate 'em to needy people...

  2. The shareholders would scream

    The loving are the daring!
  3. Haha, yea. I think what Eden is forgetting is not one person owns Intel. Hundreds of people own small shares of Intel. They must all get a percentage of that profit. That's what the stock market is. You're literally selling a small value of your company to people.

Intelligence is not merely the wealth of knowledge but the sum of perception, wisdom, and knowledge.
  4. does intel pay dividends?

and hundreds? more like tens of thousands

  5. Millions actually and ya they would pay divedends shortly after this was released. There should be some really happy Intel Investors right now.

  7. Hopefully the amd/fujitsu (60/40) $3 billion flash venture can bring them in some money for research and get us consumers some good competetion. :)
  8. How much do u think IBM and MICROSOFT are making compared to intel?
  9. Lets see what computer should I buy with all that money. Maybe Hammer will help them.

  13. sounds great
  14. I was under the impression the 896 million was net profit, didn't think stocks applied after the revenues and expenses calculations.
