I was wondering if I can buy one copy of Win XP Pro and
load it on 3 systems (I own all 3 systems, they are part
of my home network) or if I need to buy 3 copies of the
software. I've already been on the newsgroups at the Microsoft site and got the standard response that I must have a license for each system I want to install the software on from one of Microsoft's MVP's, typical! Also, what happens if 30 days go by without XP being "activated"? Does the OS just refuse to boot after that? Thanks for your input. :)

yes it won't launch windows after 30 days an unscrupulous person might use the winxp cd key generator to produce 3 separate cd keys and install it on 3 different machine while keeping the original one in reserve "just in case"
