Compaq Presario with XP SP1 Upgrade CD is stuck in a continuous setup
loop. Setup reaches 34 minutes and reboots.

Safe Mode, etc, does not work.

I'm using the six floppies boot, but won't let me into the actual
Recovery Console. It wants an "installation number" from me. Is this
the CD serial number?

Will rolling back to a previous configuration date fix this setup loop
problem?
