the max clock supported by your mainboard...i dunno it doesn't really matter..i can tell you though without ln2 your cpu is not gonna hit 3.6ghz. Hey sisoft sandra says that my cpu should run @ 933mhz however i know for sure that it is a 700mhz cpu...
700MHz, I say it should be running at 933MHz also. Using a 700E at anything less than 933EB speed is an insult to the technology

but you don't understand...i have the worst 700mhz pIII chip ever made...at 2v on my msi board the damn thing isnt even stable at 933mhz and the core temp is 30c...my pIII 700 seems to be running old technology...i feel like its got a katami core or something.

so guys what's the maximun internal clock really means?
I have the ASUS P4P800 Deluxe mobo.
Even i don't believe i can push it up 3.6mhz, but that maximun internal clock probably means something. Does it means this mobo has some overclocking potential?
it means nothing...dont worry...intel did not accedentally ship you an engeneiring sample of a new 3.6ghz chip...get over it...diagnostic programs can be wrong...i have already given an example of this...if ya wana overclock it sure have fun.
