Goal:
I am attempting to centralize my audio to my pc speakers while maintaining the highest quality possible (digital 5.1).

Questions
1. Is my goal even possible?
2. If the answer to the first question is yes, than what would be the most appropriate configuration?

hmmm... an amplifier would sort out ur problem, as it would connect all these devices up together... and it would seem a waste to spend a lot of money to buy a reciever, for speakers like them as well as u having no high def source, unless of course ur PC is one.
