i always want to see 'details' on each windows-explorer.
how do i determine the look of the windows-explorer for all future uses?
at ME and win2k: i pressed ctrl key while closing the window of the
explorer. in this way i could change its look to my desire.

Open Windows Explorer to a "details" view of any folder.

Then Tools > Folder Options...
Click the "View" tab
Click "Apply to All Folders"
