I have a Compaq 5140, running Windows 98 Standard Edition.

When I open Solitaire, I receive an error stating the program has
performed an illegal operation....

I have tried the microsoft support suggestions but the symptoms they
describe are not exactly the same errors that I get. So no luck there.
Windows98 was preinstalled on my computer, so I don't have a Win98 disk,
only a Quick Restore disk.
Can I use the Restore disk to fix this, and if so, how?

Below are the details.
Thanks in advance!

SOL caused a general protection fault
