porcessor installation question

I have a pentium 4 2.8c processor. my question is. when I install it should I use some thermal compound and should I get a better fan than the one it comes with in the retail box. I will probably over-clock it to 3.2 -- thanks.

The retail fan should do the trick but think in this matter. The cooler the CPU the faster and more stable it is.

but deffinatly use a thermal compound if you get a new hsf, even if you do it's not a bad idea to get some arctic silver. the new ceramique(sp?) is supossed to be really good, and fairly cheap
