I have a MN 700 base and 2 notebooks, one with WIN 2K and
the other with WIN XP. When I tried to install
the "Urgent Update" the adapters were never recognized,
and I was unable to enter them manually. However, Windows
XP now refuses to be commected wirelessly (even tho every
time I log in the "Urgent Wireless Update" pop-up
appears); Win 2K had to have the Adapter software
reinstalled but at least is now connecting wireless to the
internet. Anyone have similar problems? What did you
do?? Any and all help is appreciated (the XP laptop is my
daughters, and I HAVE to get her away from my PC)

Restore the XP to an earlier restore point, and see if that
reenables the XP wifi.
Remove the MBNU from Start/Programs/startup group. Go to
the MS web site. The upgrade is available in the support
site for the wireless hardware.
