I know a lot of you like to compliment NAVL, but listen you have to be
careful

I just bought an Elvis from Lee Conklin (good seller)

Disaster with delivery

So close to destroying the pin, not even funny

They sent a 60 year old man with a lazy a-- to do the delivery

I ended up doing most of the work

I asked them to bring it in the house

NOOOOOOO way, I was told

anyway it worked out, but you can't take anything for granted with
them. Most deliveries are very good, but this one almost ended in
disaster.

Amazing the pin is still perfect ....

What did they do that almost destroyed it? If it was during the bringing into
the house maybe that's why they don't do it? Ya know, so they don't break
anything.

How was the pin almost destroyed? I don't follow. Was it raining
out? Maybe a gang of young thugs ready to steal it or wack it with
baseball bats?

I usually have them drop off and pick up from my garage. Then I
assemble and roll the machine inside with pinskates. If you need
special delivery or pickup to/from hard to access places that costs
extra and needs to be arranged ahead of time.

I paid NAVL extra up front to have a machine disassembled, carried up a
flight of stairs and palleted before it was shipped to me. The person
I bought it from was not capable. Michelle at NAVL took care of
sending the right guys to do the job and everything worked out
perfectly.

Pussy, find another shipper that does a better job.....GOOD LUCK in
your hunt. Been shipping machines for years this is the best service
you will find at any price! Oh..and for the record I have tried almost
all of them. Over 500 machines shipped those are the facts enjoy
your pin.

lucky I was home and it wasn't my wife getting the pin, because she

Look we don't live in a perfect world, if you think you can ship
anything like that across country and never have a problem, you need to
buy locally. Things happen, doesn't matter who is doing it. Its a very

Once again I don't understand. How exactly would the game have been
destroyed? How are you not trolling? You make baseless claims against
a well respected company like NAVL just to get responses. No shipping
company is perfect; that is not news to any of us. Of course we are
going to respond in NAVL's defense - that is the definition of
trolling.

they called me to apologize

the local division of NAVL ....

I am just saying not to take anything for granted

I almost let my wife sign for the delivery today

and that I would have my insurance claim turned down

I understand that is the dream of a few

All I am saying to the other 95%, is to be careful with NAVL as some of
their crews are not the best as I found out today

Make sure you are home for deliveries and don't be shy about
complaining or filing a claim on the spot

that's all ....

for the other 5%, maybe the next game I buy will be destroyed on
delivery and then you can all get yourselves a good laugh off of it

I get it now. Had you not been there they would have tied a rope to
the machine and dragged it around the block with their truck a few
times. Or maybe lift it 100 feet with a crane and drop it to the
pavement. They also could have left a bomb in it and blown it up.
Maybe they would have filled the cabinet with fast setting concrete.

Good thing you were there to sign for it instead of your wife or it
surely would have been DESTROYED! Give it up Gary, you are digging a
hole that no amount of twisted logic can get you out of.

How did your game almost get DESTROYED?

I understand the old man didn't wheel the game into your house, set the
game up, or leave a mint on your pillow. I understand the crew did not
administer a handjob or bake you a pie, thereby opening themselves up
to the criticism of being "not the best."

it came with no protection, nothing ...

the protection was the cabinet decals

I have never seen anything like it ...

I just spoke with NAVL and they confirmed that they screwed up BIG

I am just telling people not to be shy about deliveries

I paid $333 for the service by the way ...

usually they are very good, today they were bad

I was out of town and almost didn't make it back for the surpise
delivery

THANK YOU!!! Gary this is why everyone was bashing you. Not once did you say how
they almost "destroyed the machine" this is why you were getting bashed. Had you
not finally said why you had a problem you would have gotten bashed again. You
were frustrating the hell out of me also!

Now looking back it was bad that they did not wrap it and yes it could have
gotten nicks and scratches (on a HUO game this would have really killed value we
understand this) but that would have been far from destroying the game now
wouldn't it?

All some of these people are saying is think about what you post before doing so
and explain yourself fully when you have an issue like this.

Gary, Did you know there is a guy in Germany that is creating these
cool ramps. Not sure what your Creature is like, but you should
consider ordering one of them. Not sure if they are ready, you can just
send out a "are they ready update" on rgp and I am sure you will get
updated.
