HD audio device not function when upgrade to 4G RAM

Hello,
I recently upgrade my RAM from 3G to 4G and my HD audio device didn't have sound come out. When i change back to 3G, and the Hd audio device running ok. Pls tell me what is the problem?
By the way, my processor is AMD Athlon 64x2 Duo core.

Perhaps that extra stick of RAM doesn't match the other memory.

As said....check the speeds on ALL ram sticks to make sure they match...
