What kind of price cut are we talking on Oct. 21 for Intels? For instance could someone give me a ballpark of how much a particular CPU might cost? I understand that it is just a guess, but it would really help me out.

Is there any price cut in store for AMDs?

just going by whats happened in the past...no pentium processor will go below 150 dollars for a long time! slot 1 PIII 700's still cost more than 140bux!

3 386DX-25's...12 volts...glue some ln2 and a wicked amount of overclocking and you get a willamantee minus 36 pins, 33.75 million transistors and a couple hundred mhz...

I don't think they can cut the Celeron prices enough to compete with the XP's.
They would almost have to give them away. I think well see AMD making further inroads to the home market.

Most large businesses still leary to switch to AMD, I feel.

Intel P4 2.4c will stay around $170-$175 The rest will drop in price. 3.2C will be $450+ thats a guess. And down the line.
