Hello,
My laptop has overnight acquired a red 'bleeding' spot at the top of the screen. It is not solid, but you can see the colour squares, mainly red and some blue. The cursor moves under the spot. There was no impact to the screen previously.

Solution
Seems like it is most likely some burnt out LCD crystals. If you can stand it for the time being, it shouldn't be a problem. If not, you can order a replacement screen for it.

:hello:
Thanks for your response,
I have since noticed a crack underlying the screen, now that the bleeding has died down. Not sure how on earth that happened, as it is right at the edge of the screen, but has lengthened a bit with movement of the laptop lid.... will have to get a new screen in the end I guess. I could try under warranty perhaps. :)
