Restore Gateway to Factory Specs

I have a Gateway Windows 7 desktop that is having sporatic blue screen of death during bootup. The diagnostic tools do not work. When i used the Gateway recovery management, I got the menu, but it wouldn't let me; it says that the hard drive is not in the factory default.

  1. duplicate post
  2. Sorry about the duplicate postings on these. When I posted, it said there was a "flooding" attempt (whatever that is) and it said it couldn't post. It said it finally posted after the I logged out and back in and reposted. It appears they did post--again sorry about that and I can't figure out how to remove the extra ones--the whole day has been going like this--"My computer Karma is really bad today, nothing is going right".
  3. There are at least three posts of the same question that I have come across.

Response: Again, sorry about that. When i tried posting the first two times it gave me a "flooding attempt" error and said it didn't post. I tried to delete the other two, but I can't figure out how to do it. Sorry again to all, but all three of these are the same.
