Windows 7 Pro 64bit

Hello,

I just istalled a windows 7 Pro 64bit OS on my new laptop and i have a question about the amount of space it used. The Hard disk i installed it on is shown to be 901GB of which 873 are free. Now, the Windows folder i C: drive only shows to be 12.6 GB. I wonder where the other GBs went . 901 - 873 = 28. 28 - 12.6 = 15.4 GB are gone somewhere and i do't know where.

All the folders in C: are 13.2 GB but again 28 - 13.2 = 14.8GB used for something. Can someone shed some light about that?

When you buy a hard drive that has a reported space of 901gb and that space is raw space and when that raw space is partitioned and fornated you are left with a space that is less then 901gb and that space is 885.6. so there was 15.4 gb lost in the partitioning and formating of the hard drive.
