I prefer building/custom-ordering computers, but my dad has really good Sears credit and wants to purchase from them. I browsed the website for a while and found these:
Northgate XP2000: http://www.sears.com/sr/product/sum...pid=00366014000
Compaq 2.5: http://www.sears.com/sr/product/sum...pid=00362063000
Compaq 2.4: http://www.sears.com/sr/product/sum...pid=00362053000
Northgate Amd1300:
http://www.sears.com/sr/product/det...to=null&bidsite
Auctions: 2 days: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...item=2744880686
Any suggestions at all would be appreciated. I'm pretty wary of Compaqs; the Presario 5461 I've had for about 4 years has been anything but stable and required a lot of maintenance. However, this is a new model/design so that may not be the case. This computer is going to be used by average users, primarily for song downloads, occassional gaming, schoolwork, etc.
Gaming PC in progress, suggestions welcome
