Cannot Open or Run or install any Programs!

Windows Media Center pops up when I try to do a download. Why does this happen? all this happened after i tried to use a flash memory stick. so how do I fix this??

Go to control panel / hardware and sound / auto play and select restore defaults. Yhis will restore the default programs that you use to open programs and play music and videos.
