Do i have to buy a new video card

Hi. I bought a new pc in the summer. I have a p4 3.2ghz 1gb 400mhz ram 240gb SATA 150 and ATI9800pro 128mb. I would like to play games like Half life 2 and Doom III and other new games. Do I have to buy a new VIDEO card?

I wanted to get the Nvidia 5900 Fx 256mb. I have only 128mb isn't that to little? MAybe you know what is the best cooling for my video card. I want to overclock it.

well, mate, ur card is more than sufficient for the next 12 months or so if not more. most ppl even manage to play most of the games with a 64Mb or a 32 MB card.

About the mod, i have no idea. hang on for a while...

I have ran Sis Sandra. In cpu and bios information there are performence and there is a Warning 214:"Bios is flash-able but surface-mounted." What does that mean. can I flash the bios?

if you find out what make your motherboard is you have then you can find out if there is a new bios revision you can get, even if there is you may not need it,

After going thru the Dell website, i think u either have a Springdale or Canterwood mobo. BTW, how much memory do u have? and how many RAM sticks?

as suggested, open the case and look for the make of the mobo. Atleast let us know what color the mobo is, may be that cud help

And if u do open the case and find out the make, also look for the model number and the version/revision.
