Canada

14_Please tell us any additional information if needed.

The os has to be 64bit (preferably Windows 7) No Linux.

I would like this laptop I am getting to have HDMI out so I can use my LCD TV to watch Blu-Ray movies. Also looking for a laptop with SPDIF (that optical technology) out for my speakers (currently 5.1 surround sound). If there is an excellent laptop that someone knows about but doesn't have any SPDIF - I don't mind buying an extra dongle for it to work.

I would either like USB 3.0 and/ or ESata support for external drives. Also - an SSD would be great - but if there are no laptops with standard SSD with my requirements I can always can add an SSD later.

I have an idea for a laptop right now but if someone can come up with something better that would be great:

ASUS G73JH-A1 (Approx $1700) I know this model does not have E-sata or Fireware (but firewire is the least important on my list)

Intel Core i7 720QM (1.6Ghz quad core, 2.8 with turbo)

8GB

2X500GB

17.3IN FHD LED

Radeon 5870

Bluray Win 7 Premium Notebook (64bit)
