I'm about to put together a new pc that im hoping will last me about a year to a year and a half. Here is the list of what I have picked out for parts so far. If anyone see's parts that will not play nice with other parts I would like to here your suggestion's on different parts. The main uses of this PC are going to be Gaming and Internet use.

Epox 8rda+
2 x 256 mb pc3200 Kingston Hyper X kit
80 GB WD 800JB 7200/8 mb cache
Chieftec server case with window mod and 3 case fans with 450 watt psu
Logitech Black Optical desktop
Lite-On 52x cd-rom
Mitsumi 3.5" drive
Windows XP Pro - oem
Total price with out video card is $717. My budget is $1000 dollars. I've left a post in the Video Card section with what im trying to decide between.

Looks fine to me. Perhaps even a bit of overkill on the power supply, but if you want room for expansion or want it to run cooler than typical then it makes plenty of sense.
One thought though, 512MB is good and all, but depending on what you're doing (especially when Windows XP is involved) you might be a lot happier with more. Then again maybe that's just me.
