Canon scanner wia driver

Hello,
I had to wipe everything off my computer, when I tried to reinstall my CanoScn LiDE80 scanner a message pops us saying there is a twain errer. Being a very low-tech person, I do not know what this means or want I co to fix the problem. I haave windows vista. Help! P Wearth

How did you try to re-install the scanner, i.e. the disk that came with it or via Canon's support site? If you used the disk, try going to canon's support site and downloading the most recent driver for it to see if that clears up the error. If not, report back to us.
