You already had a thread started on "TREO 600 speed" and a response
from WyreNut. Could have continued there without starting a new
thread. Now there are two threads on the same basic subject to keep
track of

I was wrong...sorry... with your "Internet Speed with Treo 600" post,
you now have three threads (all dated 11/8/04) on the same basic
subject to follow. My error <g>

Jim, that seems like an extremely expensive proposition. Have you done it ?

It should be possible to overclock the Treo's processor. Overclocking
utilities existed for the older Dragonball chips and already exist for Arm
chips on the PocketPC. Since modern Palms also use Arm chips, it should be
possible to ocerclock them as well. The main problem with overclocking on a
Treo 600 would be that it would likely interfere with the phone portion of
the device. I had a similar experience with both the Treo 180g and Treo
270. Both machines can be overclocked using Afterburner but the
overclocking also renders them unable to receive incoming calls.

Well , since I started this thread and now find that my download speed
range of 3KBS-400KBS (depending on my location with Cing/ATT) is about
tops. Anyone wants any info on my settings or other let me know
directly.
Thanks,
Owen
