All toshiba laptops have a hidden partition that contains the recovery software to repair Windows and /or restore the la[top to factory condition. You should visit the support page at toshiba and enter in your model number to get instructions on how to acess this hidden partition. You can also request a cd to be mailed to you with the recovery files but there may be a charge for that.
