Hi
I have a network at my home with XP Pro. My printer is attached to the
router with a print server.

this network has worked great till this week. Starting this week, (maybe--
maybe after I downloaded the new security updates) my printer does not print
when I command it to. It just freezes, until I restart the computer. When I
get the cntl-alt-delete prompt, then the printer kicks in and prints what I
commanded. I don't even need to log on.

Any thoughts?

Thanks
David

sounds like the printer spooler gets hosed.. Have you tried stopping the
spooler service, delete the spooler files, then try to print again?
