Im using an Athlon 2600 CPU with A7N8X deluxe motherboard. On booting it shows CPU as 1.25 GHz and also in Windows XP. Whats wrong? How do I get it to work at full speed? (I hope this is the right forum)

Goto your BIOS & change the speed from there. Chances are that your FSB is set at default (100MHz).
