Problem Athlon 2600 XP with A7N8x Motherboard

Im using an Athlon 2600 CPU with A7N8X deluxe motherboard. On booting it shows CPU as 1.25 GHz and also in Windows XP. Whats wrong? How do I get it to work at full speed? (I hope this is the right forum)

  1. Goto your BIOS & change the speed from there. Chances are that your FSB is set at default (100MHz).
