Wi-Fi = High Ping?

Hello,
im averaging 200-300 ping in the game of BF2. im using a Toshiba laptop as my desktop...um..im on a wireless network that come free in my apartments. Is there anything i can do to lower my ping?

Ask your neighbors not to use the wireless while you play. That's about it.
