You think MS paid full price for their custom version PIII 733?

It's possible that the next xbox could use a lower speed Pentium M, or even a higher voltage Pentium M, so that Intel could dump many of their "defective" cores which only failed because they didn't run fast enough or needed more voltage.

I think that that is a very real possibility... Their pricing schemes are completely different, of course, when they're dealing with mobile CPUs...

However, while PMs are certainly very interesting, maybe some power-saving features won't have any real use... Let's wait and see...

Seems logical if only the P-M's werent so expensive...

I'd say there's a big difference between buying 1 processor from Intel and buying 100,000. :p
