rate these two system i'm gonna built

hey guys, i gonna finally upgrade and get rid of my Block Heater (I'm gonna miss him, cries) ANYWAYS my parents decided that if i gonna get a upgrade i'm gonna start playing games like crazy so i'm building two systems, one for work and one for gaming!! Rate them please~~
System 1 (work)
CPU- AMD Athlon 2500+ Barton
Mobo- MSI K7N2g-L (is this the only nforce 2 mobo with video?)
Ram- I'm gonna use my old OCZ PC2700 512 mb ram, i dont think i'll need dual channel for working
Video-On Board
HDD- WD 80Gb HDD 8mb cache
Sound- On Board
CD-ROM- Old 50x
PS- Generic 300w POS

System 2
CPU- Pentium 4 2.4C Ghz
MOBO- MSI NEO-FIS2R or Gigabyte GA8KNXP (decide for me guys)
RAM- OCZ dual channel series PC3500 2x256mb
Video- Old GeForce 4 Ti4200
Sound- Sound Blaster Audigy(old)
HDD- Maxtor 80GB (old)
PS- ANTEC trueblue 480W (old)

so what do u guys think?

- I'd go with Epox 8RGA+ on the first system as it has recieved positive user feedback here.

- Good choice for processor on both systems.

Heck you could do gaming with either one of those systems. I mean anything that uses the QUake3 engine, the NFORCE2 should scream. That will come in handy during those idle moments at the job. But as far as Doom3/HL2 the NFORCE2 will need lowr settings of course.

My OS features preemptive multitasking, a fully interactive command line, & support for 640K of RAM!

the first one has on-board video so it should be slower on games. The second one could be faster.

-first one looks good
-second one go with the msi mobo, and if you can afford it, get an fx 5600 128MB. A ti4200 will be lacking for games like d3 and hl2. If you cannot afford it i would suggest getting a cheaper proc on the first one and using that extra money to upgrade the vid. DO you plan on ocing the p4c?, cause if not save a little cash and get 400mhz ram instead of 466mhz.

I'd go with the p4c, definately go with the neo2 but I wouldn't have any less than a gig of ram these days although 2x512 3200 will set u back £200+ in the UK, dunno bout US prices. But I'm gonna be building a a p4 2.4c system with the neo 2 and i'm going with 2x512 pc4000 and overclocking to 3.0GHz. Definately go for a Radeon 9600 pro/Geforce FX5600 (the ati card is better). All thats good advice but it will set u back more $ so...

guys, if u go to the graphic fourm u'll know i hang around there ALOT! i dont need advice on video cards.

and I guess i'll get the NEO instead of the 8KNXP. Also 1 GB of dual channel ram costs an arm here in Canada and since i'm already selling both legs for that P4 system, i dont think i can afford 1Gb cause i wanna have two arms please~ lol
