Computer unable to connect to printer

I had a computer repair person set up security software (AVG-Free) for me. For some reason my computer will no longer communicate/connect with my printer. I researched on AVG and the only solution I am able to come up with is to disable the program in order to use the printer.

Do you know what I can check or uncheck in the AVG (or even which security component is causing the problem)program to correct this?

I dont think that is the problem, AVG free has no firewall or anything that im aware of. Try uninstall your printer drivers and reinstall again.
