I'm looking to buy a new 23/24 inch monitor. I'll be using it for gaming, watching films mainly.

So I've been doing some search for about a week now and I came up with these, now I need to pick one, I'm leaning towards the XL2370, but would like to know what you guys think and if you got any other suggestions besides these.

I want to order it asap, preferably today, if not then tomorrow.

Samsung

XL2370: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
PX2370: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

The XL2370 and PX2370 are the same price in my country, I know the PX2370 is newer, but I haven't read many reviews about it, and the ones I read weren't that great if you compared it to the XL2370.

Asus

VW246H: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...
VE246H: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I read the VK246H review of some guy on here too, it was pretty good, but now I want to make my decision. So post what you think

That was my review.

The Asus VW246H is a slightly older monitor, but it should still be pretty good for the average user/gamer.

The Samsung monitors are newer and have LED backlight instead of florescent (CCFL) backlight so they will probably use about 15w less power and allows for a sleeker design. They do not have VESA mounting holes, so you will not be able to install an aftermarket stand if you want to add height adjustment, rotation and pivoting abilities. Also if the stand breaks (a rarity, but I have seen several posts) then you are basically out of luck unless you get Samsung to service it.
