Windows 7 eval copy

If you just want to retrieve your data, simply add the current drive to a computer with a legitimate OS and move it just like you would anything else. You may use a legitimate copy of the OS to do a clean install to the same partition. When complete, all of your existing data will be in a folder called WINDOWS_OLD, and you may retrieve it from there at your convenience.

Microsoft do not recommend upgrading a pre-release version to the real because often the update is incomplete and there may be the potential to cause other issues down the road.

But... it is possible if you're willing to accept the risk.
