i need to change the proxy in the dial up settings for some stand alone home
pc's. the easiest way seems to just give them a script or registry key on the
floppy/cd and have them click on it at home. can anyone point me in the right
direction

Hi,

Oops, yes.

For dial up proxy settings, I think you will find the registry
settings under the registry key

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
\Internet Settings\Connections
