This is what i do .
1. Right click a file in Explorer and select Properties
2. If I click on OK or cancel it sometimes/almost always crashes in a
NTDLL.DLL. or DBGHELP.DLL or SHELL.DLL or SHLWAPI.DLL and I have to end the
program in Task manager
3. If I just click the "X" at top right hand corner it closes the window ok.
4. Apart from being a general pain it also means I can't do an update to the
properties of the files.
I am using Win XP Home
It does the same in Safe Mode.
Plenty of storage/memory and pocessing power.
What could be causing this ?

See if anything here might help:
"Right-click is slow or weird behavior caused by context menu handlers"
