I have heard rumors from fellow memmbers of THGC that when one switches from ATi to NVidia products or from Nvidia back to ATi, they must follow a special predure that goes beyond removoing the drivers for the device in the device manager. I have 3 Socket A DDR Athlon systems running Windows 98 SE and each of these systems is about to be upgraded to a GeForce 4 Ti 4200 64 meg.

I will list the video cards on each machine and could yall tell me the procedure accordingly, thanks

1. Hercules 3D Prophe 8500LE 128MB DDR AGP
2. ATI Radeon 7000 64MB DDR PCI
3. Matrox G400 Millineum 16MB AGP


We need to make a FAQ for these sorts of issues previously mentioned
