My Epson Stylus 785EPX won't print black

It was printing poorly but no light came on. Put a new cartridge in same thing. Ran the nozzle check and head cleaning test - no black. Prints in color only. Any ideas? Help I really need to use this.

more head cleans. MAybe the ink cap/pump assembly is blocked and its not cleaning properly. Are you using EPSON ink?? if you are using cheap aftermarket ink, then that is the problem. the print head may need to be replaced, it is not user replaceable. Not worthit, get a new printer.
