How to enable multimedia audio controller

my multimedia audio controller is not working on windows xp . I have realtek software ,but my system is 16 bits. It is even showing yellow question mark when went through device manager in properties of my computer. please guide me !

Look for the CD which came with your computer or motherboard (or download from maker's site) and reinstall the driver set.

You need a driver for your sound card check your cd that came with it
