What did you expect after dropping it? Hard drive is almost certainly toast, display panel may have cracked, and who knows what may have come loose internally. Take it to a shop for a proper evaluation.

If you have a HHD and not a SSD that could be damaged very easy with a drop.

Have you pulled the battery out for a reboot?

Are you sure it's not booting? It might be booting but you don't know it b/c the screen is now defective.

Do you have a video port on the laptop that will allow you to connect the laptop to a monitor to see if it is booting?

Either your hard drive has been busted and is attempting to load the files, or something in the circuitboard got broken, or both.

If you have an OS installation and a spare laptop hard drive, try swapping out the hard drive and attempt to install a new OS.

If the laptop works fine after a fresh reinstall, only the old hard drive was broken. There are some Youtube videos explaining how to recover the files in a homemade clean-room as long as the platters aren't shattered.

If it doesn't work, then you have a broken circuit, and that's usually a very expensive repair.
