I'm curious, I noticed that my supplier has a P4 3.0 Ghz 800FSB with HTT technology. Is HTT better then HT or is it just a typo he made?

Is it a bad thing if there is smoke coming out of my case?

They're just the same but HTT has a technology word added.

HT - Hyper Threading

HTT - Hyper Threading Technology

Lol, I see, it's just to make the title look more fancy eh. But really, what CPU would you guys give preference to, a P4 3.0 Ghz 800FSB HT or a P4 3.2 Ghz 800FSB HT? The difference in prize which I pay between those 2 is about 30 Euro.

i would recommend the 3.0ghz, coz the 3.2ghz could be really really hot based on the 0.13nm. But the 2.4C or 2.6C is much more of a better option.

Go with the 3.0ghz. If you got the money, get it. Of course, if you want to invest in a good cooler, get the 3.2. But as jmecor said, it will run hot, so make sure you have good cooling.

Well from Pentium CPUs I always use the included cooler (box edition). However I recently bought an entire Sunbeam case and that case does include 5 fans. But I think I'll stick with the 3.0 gonna invest a bit more in the P5 CPUs when they are available. Thanks for the advice, people.
