Have you ever wondered what happened if a CPU was to run with no L2 cache? Well , I found out . Actually it sucks. I dunno why but my Cache decided to disable itself ( for fun , probably). So my good ol' pIII ran like lower than a p1. Thanks to that ¸I know know that cache is important , even though I don't know whta it actually does :( ....

Ahh, the dark world of underclocking :)

Try to make it & everything else on that system slower, as slow as possible, to the point where Windows would barely startup :D.

the first celeron (celleron 300) had not l2 cahce...as you can immagine it ran slow as hell...probably slower than a pentium

You relise however that you can enter the bios and enable L2 cache on most boards...

Why your board disabled L2 i have no clue...but it is probably something you changed in the bios...
