Hi,

I have to replace a hard drive in a Dimension L733r and I do not have
the computer's manuals anymore. How can I take the hard drive off? I
can not see any screws/latches. I took off the left side of the
computer but can't see any other parts that can be taken off toolessly.

Thanks!
Charles

Thanks! I went to Dell.ca and couldn't find it. And using their search
engine wasn't useful too. You saved my day, thanks again!

Charles,

1. Remove the side panel.
2. Turn the computer on its side with the opening facing you. Remove the
plastic front panel, depressing the three plastic tabs to which arrows on the
chassis point.
3. Remove the two long screws which attach the hard drive to the front of the
chassis.

To reassemble, reverse these steps... Ben Myers

ahhh yes, the ol' screws behind the front bezel model... <sigh...> back when
you actually had to use a screwdriver on a Dell.
