c stepping question

Hi...I'm planning to buy a P4 2.6 in the near future and the cheapest ones on pricewatch.com don't
always show details like stepping. As long as I get one with the 800MHz bus speed, am I guaranteed to get one with c stepping and hyper-threading??

  1. Yes, all the 800FSB P4s are C stepping.

  2. Unless I see documentation otherwise, I wouldn't call "C" a stepping, but a model designation indicating 800 bus and HT. All 800 bus processors include HT.
