There is a new core of AMD64 running around with stepping C. You will find it from the opteron 246 and high. It has better SSE2 processing and supports lower voltage.

Love the price? It costs $614 USD. Same high price like p4 3.2 ghz! Also it would be nice if the OC benchmarked inclued 3.2 p4. They have only athlon xp stuff on it :( Guess the profermance is ok I guess...

I think that is a good sign to come. If a 1.8ghz a64 is keeping up with a 3.0ghz p4. Well it looks to me that the a64 will be a nice cpu, just hope that it is not $600.
