Soundbar Sony

I bought a Sony soundbar that said "Simply plug in the cable and enjoy the sound! It had a RGB connector for the Input! Is there any way to convert that cable to RCA or HDMI, or Digital optical???
I simply haven't been able to enjoy the .... thing!!
